rhyme without reason
Bat... Hat... Cat... rhyme without reason... pretty self-explanatory right? One of the funniest and most creative date nights I've ever put on I just loved seeing everyone's hilarious costumes and guessing what the rhyme was. Date nights where girls and their dates get to collaborate on a costume together and have fun with it are some of my favorite. Everyone loves dressing up in tuxes and ballgowns but events like these allow people to take a breath and have fun with it! Can y'all guess what rhymes everyone has below?
As part of Alpha Chi Omega's bylaws, I have to book venues that are 18+ to accommodate all members which typically has not been an issue in Athens. However, after a new law was passed in the county many of my previous venue spaces became 21+ only and I was left with only a few spaces on my list. For Rhyme Without Reason, I booked a new venue space that I hadn't rented from before. While I was originally nervous about the venue space, which essentially was just a large room, the night turned out perfect. We ended up creating a designated space for the DJ to set up as well as a dance floor. Additionally, I hung up decorations along the walls. For this event, I shot with a new photographer as well, Daniel Palmer, and I think the photos turned out amazing if I do say so myself. I'm so looking forward to working with Daniel in the future and cannot wait for our Famous Couples date night in March!
